Weight Limit 65 Pounds

Cans, bins, bundles and carts up to 32-gallon size are lifted and emptied by hand. For your safety and the safety of your collectors, please limit each 32-gallon unit to no more than 65 pounds. Larger carts are lifted mechanically, and are limited to 200 pounds.

Winter Weather Delays

Weather Delays (Snow, Ice, Flooding, etc.)

Public safety is a very high priority for Waste Management. When weather conditions prevent safe collection, we will announce service cancellations on local radio and television stations and on this website.

Left over waste from hazardous household products can be found in almost every home. The average family generally has more than 60 hazardous products in their home. Keeping hazardous waste in your home or garage can endanger the health and safety of your family and pets. Putting them in the garbage puts collectors and laborers at risk. Pouring them down the drain overloads sewage facilities and endangers fish and other animals.

Household hazardous waste collection sites

If you have products you can't use yourself or give to someone who can, you can take them to a household hazardous waste collection site for safe disposal.
