
ELLENSBURG, WASH. — December 21, 2010 — Local non-profit organizations are already celebrating the season of giving, thanks to donations from Waste Management.
The Kittitas County Friends of Animals and the Ellensburg Friends in Service to Humanity (FISH) Food Bank are each receiving $250 donations as part of a broader Waste Management initiative to help communities and families in need. Across the Pacific Northwest, the company is now delivering $35,000 in donations to non-profit organizations.
The Kittitas County Friends of Animals is a foster network that finds homes for displaced animals. The Ellensburg FISH Food Bank provides food to those facing hard times.
