Waste Management provides professional, efficient and courteous curbside garbage, recycling and yard waste collection for City of Ellensburg residents.






Missed Collection

If your container(s) were at the curb by 6:00 am and were not emptied, Click Here or call 800 592-9995.

Holidays

Garbage and recycling are collected on all weekday holidays except Thanksgiving, Christmas (Dec 25) and New Year (Jan 1).

Regular collection schedule on all other holidays.

Curbside Collection


Waste Management carts are
required for all collection to make service safer and more efficient.

Garbage is collected in gray carts. Rates vary according to cart size.

Blue Recycling Carts

Curbside recycling collected in blue carts provided to garbage subscribers at no additional cost. It is collected every other week.

  • More recyclables: Milk cartons; freezer boxes, and all plastic bottles, jugs, and dairy tubs are accepted in your blue recycling cart.
Yard waste is collected from subscribers:

  • Every Wednesday April - Oct.
  • The first Wednesday of the month Nov. - Mar.

    Combined bottles, cans, paper and cardboard collected from residences and businesses, as well as debris from construction and demolition projects are sorted at Waste Management's Cascade Recycling Center in Woodinville.
