Rejoice recyclers - you can now recycle polystyrene foam blocks! Styro Recycle is the only business in the area that you can drop off polystyrene foam blocks for free which will be recycled into new plastic.

They are located at 23418 68th Ave S. in Kent and are open Monday - Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Only clean, white polystyrene foam blocks can be recycled; no cups, food trays, foam sheeting or plastic wrap. Visit their website at www.styrorecycle.com for more information on polystyrene foam recycling.

Tip: If you live a considerable distance from the facility, consider saving up your polystyrene foam and dropping it off when you are in the area instead of making a special trip.

Packing peanuts can be dropped off for free at a variety of shipping and mailing stores - check your local listing for businesses. Since these will be reused for mailing, please ensure the packing peanuts are clean and dry.
