Container Placement at Street
Place trash, recycling and yard debris carts:
- Two feet apart
- At least three feet from cars, trees, mailboxes, fences
- With cart wheels as close to the curb as possible
- So that the lid opening faces the street

Holidays
Christmas Day & New Year's Day:
If your collection day falls on or after Christmas or New Year's Day, collection will be one day later that week with Friday customers being serviced on Saturday. More

Service Information
Household Hazardous Waste
For environmental and safety purposes, do not dispose of hazardous waste in your garbage can. Call Metro Hotline at 234-3000 for disposal information.
WE DO TAKE...
Paint Cans
Containers must be empty, completely dried out, with the lids off. Place curbside NEXT TO your garbage can. We will take up to five paint cans with no charge.
Fluorescent Light Bulbs are accepted if:
- They are wrapped in newspaper or plastic and fit entirely into the garbage can or roll cart
- They are wrapped entirely in newspaper or plastic and set curbside
- They are contained and sealed in the original packaging and set curbside
- Broken fluorescent tubes will be accepted only if wrapped in newspaper or bagged
We will take one bundle of five bulbs at no charge, each additional bundle will be $2.55.
Motor Oil
Pour used motor oil into a clear, unbreakable, leak proof container with screw-on lid and set beside your Curby.
We Do NOT Take
Antifreeze, Batteries, Aerosol Spray Products, Fluorescent light Fixtures, Household Cleaning Products, Pesticides or herbicides, paints, thinners or solvents, fertilizers or poisons.
