Holiday Collection - Douglas County

Regular collection schedules on these holidays:

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Presidents Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day (July 4)
 Labor Day
Columbus Day
Veterans Day
Thanksgiving

We will NOT be collecting on these holidays
  • Christmas Day (December 25th), and
  • New Year's Day (January 1st).

If your regular collection day falls on Christmas or New Year's Day, your service will be delayed one day. If your collection day comes later in the week after collection has been delayed because of a weekday holiday, your service will also be one day later that week.

If these holidays fall on a weekend, regular residential collection schedules apply.
