Paint Disposal / Recycling
We do not accept paint here at the Wenatchee Transfer Station for recycling. However, we can accept it for disposal IF the paint is completely dried out. Paint Hardener can be purchased at a local paint store or kitty litter can be used
to help dry out the paint.
Sharps Disposal
Needles need to be in a sharps or puncture-resistant container with a label noting that the container holds sharps, needles, etc. Sharps containers are accepted at the Wenatchee Transfer Station at no charge. Please check in at the scale house for direction on where to dispose of your containers.
Hazardous Waste
We do not accept hazardous waste here at the Wenatchee Transfer Station.
The county will usually host a Househould Hazordous Waste event twice a year.
