Holiday Schedules

Garbage, recycling and yard waste are collected as scheduled on all holidays except Thanksgiving (Nov 22, 2012), Christmas (Dec 25), and New Year's Day (Jan 1). If your scheduled collection day falls on (or after) one of these three holidays, collection will be one day later that week only.

Cooking Oil Recycling

Ever wonder what to do with leftover cooking oil?

Recycle it for free at the local drop-off located in the parking lot at French Lake Dog Park (31531 1st Ave S).

Please transport cool cooking oil in a plastic jug with a secure twist-on lid. Remember to use a jug that allows for easy pouring into the on-site collection tank. Please pour oil slowly and carefully into the on-site collection tank to avoid splatter, and take containers home to retain this free public service. (Empty jugs can be rinsed out and recycled at home.)

Seattle-based General Biodiesel will collect and convert the cooking oils into eco-friendly, sustainable fuel.
