Welcome to the WM Family!

Customers in Newberg, Dundee, parts of Yamhill and Washington counties are now being served by Waste Management, as a result of the acquisition of Newberg Garbage Service and Recycling. We are pleased to welcome our new customers and the many Newberg Garbage employees who have transitioned to Waste Management. We were especially pleased to be able to offer all of the Newberg Garbage employees positions with the new company, and we look forward to working together to provide you excellent service.

Will things change with Waste Management providing my service?

Holidays

Garbage, recycling and yard debris are collected on all holidays except Christmas and New Year's Day. If your collection day falls on or after Christmas or New Year's Day, collection will be one day later that week with Friday customers being serviced on Saturday.

Electronics Disposal Ban

Effective January 1, 2010, all computers, TVs, laptops and monitors are banned from disposal as garbage in Oregon. Don’t place computers, monitors and TVs in your trash, recycling bin or at the curb. Electronics require special handling and cannot be collected in your regular service. More

Container Placement at Street

Place trash, recycling and yard debris carts:

Roll carts must be set out the night prior to your service day.

Carts must be within 3 feet of the curb or roadside, in open view.

Each cart needs to be 4 feet from other carts, mailboxes, cars and other obstructions so our trucks can safely reach them.

Carts must be removed from the curb after they are emptied.
