Storm Event Notification to Yard Waste Service Residential Customers
Recently, the City of Normandy Park designated a storm event occurrence that will impact Single-Family Residence Customers who subscribe to Yard Waste service.
On both Tuesday, Oct. 28, and Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, Single-Family Yard Waste Customers may include up to 96 additional gallons of Storm Debris with regular quantities of Yard Waste without extra charge. This is the equivalent of three standard garbage cans or three kraft paper yard bags.
Storm debris includes branches less than 4 inches in diameter, limbs, and leaves. These should be placed in extra garbage cans labeled “Yard Waste”, kraft paper yard bags, or bundled using degradable string or twine. Bundles may be up to two feet in diameter by four feet in length and no more than fifty-five (55) pounds.
For additional questions, please contact 855-672-7596.
Normandy Park residents have weekly collection for garbage and every-other-week collection for recycling. Customers subscribing to food / yard waste receive every other week collection on the opposite weeks of recycling. Day of collection is Tuesday.
WM observes three annual holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day (Dec. 25), and New Year's Day (Jan. 1). All other holidays will not affect your collection schedule.
Weekday holidays will delay collection by one day for the remainder of the week. For example, if a holiday falls on a Thursday, Thursday customers will be collected on Friday and Friday customers will be collected on Saturday.
Expanded Curbside Bulky Waste Collection for Residential Customers
